Fish attractant questions, answered

Everything anglers ask us about applying Legacy Strike 75, what is in the bottle, and where it works.

Using it on the water

Dosage, reapplication and what it sticks to.

A small amount worked directly into the bait, lure or jig is enough. The formula is thick and clings, so a light coat covers the whole surface. A little goes a long way — an 8 fl oz bottle covers a full season for most anglers.

Every 15–20 minutes, or after a few casts — whichever comes first. That keeps the scent trail at full strength while your bait is working.

Yes. It is made to stay on live bait, soft plastics, jigs, spoons and crankbaits alike. No mixing or soaking — apply it to whatever is already tied on.

No. The cling-style body is the whole point of the formula — it stays put instead of rinsing away the moment it hits the water, so the scent is still working when your lure reaches the strike zone.

The bottle and the formula

Ingredients, sizing and where it is made.

Purified water, real fish emulsion, fish oils, xanthan gum and natural coloring. All-natural and biodegradable, in recyclable packaging. For fishing use only — not for human consumption, and keep out of reach of children.

Both. It is built as an all-species attractant and works in fresh and salt water — largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleye, catfish, crappie, trout, pike, musky, striper, panfish, redfish, snook and flounder.

8 fl oz / 236.58 mL, in recyclable packaging, made in the USA by Fat Basset B & T Company in Carlsbad, California.

Thin, watery scents leave your bait on the first cast. Legacy Strike 75 is built thick on purpose: it grips the bait, bleeds real fish emulsion and oils into the water column, and keeps a feeding trail alive around your presentation.
